Help all our Ocean Storage Locations and Bay Storage support their charity initiatives. We want to give back to the communities that have supported us. Yorktown, Virginia Beach, Cape Charles and Shallotte are all homes to us and we want to help any way we can. Contact your office to see what you can do to make a difference. Bay Storage is helping a family make a Christmas to remember. Through Social Service Adopt A Family we are now taking donations for a family in our neighborhood. We have adopted a family of 1 boy and 4 girls who need some presents for under the tree. We want to make their Christmas morning special. The Adopt a family program helps families in need during the holidays to have presents under the tree or ingredients to make the holiday meal. They have helped so many around our neighborhood and we want to do our part to make a difference. Drop off your donations by December 16th to help this family out.
Attention Laskin Ocean Storage! We are giving back to the community we live and work in. Love and Caring Ministries Emergency Shelter started with 2 men helping the homeless through prayer and hot cups of soup in 1995. Now, the ministry provides 415,000 meals annually, clothing and financial assistance for emergency needs. These cold winter months can be a challenge to get through if there is no shelter or daily food. With Love and Caring Ministries people in need have the resources to stay strong and healthy.Ocean Storage Laskin we can make a difference in our neighborhood with this small act of kindness. So, the next time you are out shopping keep the Love and Caring Ministries in mind.
Our Shallotte location is pulling their efforts together to help the Autumn Care Nursing Home. This home provides patients with personalized services while respecting their independence. Bring in sugar free candies, puzzles, books and blankets. We want to remind our families we care and want them to be comfortable. Bring your donations to Ocean Storage Shallotte until December 19th.
Both Ocean Storage Northampton and Yorktown are supporting Toys for Tots this year. The mission of Toys for Tots is to collect new unwrapped toys in months leading up to the holidays and distribute them to boys and girls in different communities. Toys for Tots plays an active role in developing our future leaders. By uniting communities to give back, they encourage us make a difference during the holidays. Since the organization’s start they have distributed over 512 million toys to over 237 million less fortunate families. Last year alone the organization donated 3.02 million books through the Toys for Tots Literacy Program. We need your help to give back this time of year and spread holiday cheer! Ocean Storage Yorktown will be accepting gifts until November 30th. If you’re in the Northampton area donations should be brought to the office until the week of Christmas.
