Obtaining a new storage unit was quick and easy with the online process. Staff at Bay Storage answered all my questions and were helpful. Grounds and units are kept clean. I've never had any issues or bad experience. Would definitely recommend.

Whenever I go to Bay Storage in Cape Charles, whether it is to purchase packing material or to inquire about a unit I am always welcomed with warmth and attention. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and ready to help.I highly recommend this company to store your belongings and to feel reassured that you are taken care of. I’ve had a great experience at Bay Storage. Etta was very accommodating to my schedule and the circumstances surrounding my move. She was able to meet my needs without pushing the most expensive option, and the whole process was simple and smooth. My storage unit is the perfect size and was spotless when I moved in. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bay Storage to anyone who has general storage and Uhaul rental needs on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Very good communication and willing to take the time to discuss the different storage options they provide. Even during a very humid day the manager took the time to give me a quick tour to show me the inside of one of the available outside storage units. Having a storage unit close to home was very convenient. The staff was always pleasant. We had to do an upgrade for a larger unit during the transition of our move and the staff was very accommodating with the change, they were able to keep the units close together for an easy move.If we need a Storage Unit in the future we will not hesitate giving them a call in hopes they have a unit available, they do go quickly.

It was very convenient to reserve a unit online, pay, upload the documents and recieve my person gate code and unit number. Within an hour I was at the storage unit and was unloading my belongs into it. So simple and handy.

I had pre-reserved a unit but ended up needing it sooner, and over the New Year's weekend! Danielle took my call when they were closed and got me set up and in the unit on Sunday!! Lifesaver... and she could not have been nicer!! Thank you Bay Storage and especially to Danielle!! I'm in and a fan!! Unit was extremely clean and facility feels very secure too!!

Excellent facility! We rented a temp controlled unit for few months during the summer while moving. Hours to access unit were very accommodating, units were clean and staff was friendly. Courtney was extremely friendly and a fabulous employee!! She called & emailed me to ensure we were happy and to enroll us in autopay. Would definitely recommend!! =D

Working with the managers has been great. They have all been very kind and helpful. My only negative has been that the rates have constantly gone up at an exponential rate. You must realize that salaries don't do that and this causes great strain.

We had a wonderful experience at this Uhaul location in cape Charles. Firstly - they are friendly and very helpful. I was able to reach them by phone and she helped us rent a trailer when we were in a last minute bind. The process was smooth and efficient with the paperwork. We had a fantastic experience with this location. Both Courtney and Heather were absolutely awesome in handling all of our questions (and we had a ton). We were very unsure of what size storage unit we needed and when we needed it to start so these two employees helped us figure out everything and never lost patience, even when we came back a 2nd & yes, a 3rd time. They both deserve employee of the year awards!!!

The cleanliness of the site, the particular way in which customers are treated, the proximity to Cape Charles town proper. Why go anywhere else.

We have an unusual story with Bay Storage. We sold our home and were moving to Cape Charles. Trying to coordinate the move with closing of our house and the availability of our new home left us looking for storage options. We called and scheduled storage based on our original closing date and had to postpone our arrival because the closing was postponed. Carol and Kelly were so understanding and kind and willing to work with us with a simple “let us know when you will be coming.” As our house closing approached, we expected to still need storage as our new home was expected not to be ready when we closed; however our new home was ready for us for to move in the weekend before the close of our house. When we updated Bay storage that we would not need to use the storage facility, they were happy that we would be able to get in our new home and not have to move twice. They simply said to keep us in mind if you or someone you knows needs storage.Awesome customer service and very considerate as to why people need storage. If you need storage give them a try. We had reserved a climate controlled unit, so they do have those available.

I recently rented a 10X30 climate-controlled unit for at least 6 months and a 10X10 ordinary unit for at least 3 months. In addition, I rented a U-Haul truck for a day through Bay Storage and arranged through Bay Storage for a crew to load and pack the truck, then meet me at Bay Storage to unload it. Everyone involved was as helpful as could be and was very pleasant to work with.

I went to Bay Storage for my last 2 moves to rent UHauls and purchase boxes and tape.The manager was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly every time I called or visited. The employees were the same.The biggest issue I had was that the blankets I rented were not put into the UHaul, so that the movers packed my furniture without the protection of the moving blankets.. They didn't know I had rented them, and I realized they weren't used when the movers arrived at my new residence with furniture in tow.The cost of the blanket rental was refunded, but that didn't help my furniture. There is a reason.......This last move was so emotional and rushed for me, that I didn't even see all of the scratches until much later after things calmed down. Otherwise, I would have filed a complaint right away, and am confident that something would have been done to make things right.My recommendation would be to check that everything is in the UHaul before anything is put into it and have someone keep checking on how your things are being handled when the movers are bringing them into the truck.

The best storage facility I’ve ever dealt with, on and off the Shore. The facility is very nice, it’s clean, grounds are well kept, safe and I feel comfortable going to my climate controlled unit alone.
