During the months of November and December, we think it is very important to give back to the community we love. Since we have two locations in VA Beach, we teamed up to improve the holidays for Toys for Tots. Both of these offices are accepting donations for this amazing organization.

Toys for Tots began with a simple philosophy in mind, give to kids who are less fortunate. Since 1947 the United States Marine Corps Reserve has brightened the holidays for thousands of kids with a new unwrapped toy. The retired veterans and Marine Corps Reserve officers aim to be someone these youngsters can look up to. Helping kids feel the holiday spirit will help them become active members of our society and maybe one day give to someone who is less fortunate.

While the organization did originally start in Los Angeles, it has spread across the United States and overseas. Every USMCR office is a location for donation and most towns have a center near them. The Marines have made it easier then ever to give.

After the holidays, Toys for Tots continues to fundraiser and get the world out about the annual toy drive. They hold races, fundraisers, and more, to include communities and get them excited about giving.

Last year was the organization’s second best year since 1947. This year we want to be part of their best year yet! Please add a toy to your shopping cart and drop it off at either VA Beach storage location.
