Just booked a 10x20 climate controlled unit. The unit is spacious, with high ceilings. Plenty of room.The facility is well maintained and very clean. Access is through automatic sliding doors ... no having to prop doors open.Best of all is the awesome customer service. Roben and Ebony are awesome!UPDATE: September 2024I just moved out. Throughout my time using Ocean Storage, the facility was always clean, bug free, well lit, and the temperature comfortable. Thank you for excellent care and service!

I worked with Robeyn, the manager, and she was excellent. I had a hard time trying to secure a unit online as I kept getting an error message regarding my address (so frustrating as I have only one address which has been established for 32+ years). Robeyn was patient and apologetic for my frustration which resulted in my having to come in to secure a unit in person. I found the facility clean, well run and easy to navigate. The entire facility is temperature/humidity controlled and there was no up charge for that. They had a public bathroom which I appreciate as I like to wash my hands after being in the unit. Hands down a good experience from facility to price structure. I will let my neighbors /friends know. I just left Public Storage which did nothing to improve the units, was not temperature controlled and had what seemed like quarterly price increases. I am happy with my move - thank you for looking out for the customer and our needs.

Went well. Setup pretty simple. I didn't give 5 stars because the unit I originally was going to go with that I was told could fit a one bedroom did not. At least from my viewpoint, I ended up going up in size. Also the door closest to my unit did not work. Otherwise it's clean, cool and feels safe. Also had plenty of pallets to move your things.

The store manager was helpful and insightful. She took me on a tour around the facility to put my mind at ease and gave me the option between two facilities. The facility is clean and as we were walking she saw a piece of trash and picked it up to ensure cleanliness. She was thorough with her explanations of how the payments work and informed me of what would happen if I missed a payment 😊 She would be the reason I recommend persons to this particular storage facility.

We were given the wrong gate code and had no one at the storage facility to help us. We called and got in touch with another facility manager who drove about 30 minutes to come help us . He went out of his way to get us our lock, show us where our unit was and made sure everything was working properly before he left.

Roben gave us fantastic customer service, greeting us right away, and even giving us a bag of free coffee aside from the free coffee for all customers. She was very informative and approachable. I rented my unit online with the 75% off the first 2 months deal. My experience started off rough because no where on the website or in our welcome paperwork does it say that you have to purchase a lock from them. We showed up with a masterlock to move our items in, to find out we cant use it. I called the customer service phone number that night & she told us that a "standard cylinder lock" should fit correctly, but when we went to Lowes to find one, apparently there are MANY different types of cylinder locks. We ended up having to leave our items in the unit unsecured overnight because there wasn't anything else we could do. The next morning I showed up at the office at 9:00am, because the pamphlet we recieved said that it opened at 9, to purchase a lock for our unit and the front door said they opened at 9:30. I had to leave, considering I was already late for work, but I called the office at 9:30 to get an explanation. When I called, I got the facility manager, Robin, & she was so sweet & so helpful! She gave us a complimentary lock for the inconvenience & even went & put it on our unit for us so our items were secure! I felt much better proceeding to move the rest of our stuff in & once I got the keys from her in the office, the rest of our time went smoothly! I did apologize to the manager because it wasn't her fault with what happened, that's 100% the fault of corporate and they need to give everyone all the necessary information needed. They need to disclose & have a way to purchase the locks online and/or have somewhere that says what type & size cylinder locks their units take. Thank you Robin for smoothing over the situation and giving me more peace of mind in storing my belongings in your facility.

I knew I was going to need a storage unit in the near future, but being a few weeks away I hadn't started seriously looking yet. I noticed a brand new, very clean moving van at a stop light near my house, and decided to Google the storage facility advertised on the side because it was unfamiliar to me. Turns out it's a brand new facility less than 5 miles from my house. I checked prices at Oceans Storage and many surrounding storage facilities, only to find out that they were very competitive in the market. After visiting the website and making a reservation, I was contacted the same day, and a few days after making sure I was taken care, had what I needed, and didn't have any questions... It was a nice personal touch. I completed the move in online, was able to sign everything right over the computer, and even provided my storage room number and gate code right then and there. A couple of welcome emails later...another personal touch. All I had to do was stop by the office long enough for the super nice staff to make a copy of my license and sell me a lock. At first I thought, but I have my own lock and I don't want to buy yours! After seeing that the lock had 3 keys and was absolutely needed as it fit right into the existing locking mechanism on the roll up door, it was a plus because it really felt well thought out and secure! The facility is brand new, fans in the ceiling constantly circulating air, climate controlled, my storage room floor was clean enough to eat off of, so I knew I made the right decision. I also know that when I move my belongings out, that they will be in the same shape they were when I moved in, no dirt, no bugs, no swollen wood from rain and humidity, no stains from a leaky roof, no damage! I'm happy, 10 out of 10 would recommend and I was even able to take advantage of a first month free move in special!

I helped my cousin move into her unit at this facility a week ago. The management is very friendly and informative. They made the process so easy for her as she was already having a difficult time. Units are clean, they're indoors, you can access until 10p.m. They're also climate controlled. If you're looking for a affordable climate controlled unit, this is the place!
