Went in on a Friday morning and assistant manager was very nice. She showed me a couple units for 129.00 - 159.00 and 200+ (we didn’t see this one). She explained to me that the 129.00 climate controlled unit would be 75% off for two months or 50% off for three. I said ok let’s do 75% for two and get it today. She explained the lock, admin fees etc. and I took care of a call. When returning she proceeded to tell me the space was 159.00 in computer and she should not have been working off paper highlighted sheet left by her leadership. I was hesitant about additional 30.00, questioned if she could call leadership - there had to be a way to get pricing correct and discount added to system? She then told me she had to look up how 75% off was done on another unit????? I asked if she could call leadership - “she is on vacation”, - after some time she told me she was calling her manager - it was now 1100. Manager DID NOT answer - (understood-it is a holiday). Can you call another leader - she had told me she travels to other locatios? No - she could NOT.Too many issues - not consistent with information, false information, for 25 minutes we discussed pricing as we viewed units. I was ready - provided all information and then for 25 more minutes everything we just discussed was no longer accurate and changing for every 5 minutes I was there. TERRIBLE BUSINESS CUSTOMER SERVICE!My intent was to do UHAUL and all as one stop shop and instead I left!Lessons Learned:1. Know your product, area, job!2. Say you don’t know if YOU DONT.3. There is ALWAYS A SOLUTION.4. Go somewhere that is loyal to what is said and takes accountability for THEIR MISTAKES.5. Rent a unit at beginning of MAY - within one week prices doubled.6. Cross - train as well cross-communicate to ensure team has more than one person for solution. -

While I did get the unit that I requested, I would have preferred to speak to someone face-to-face and walked through the facility at the time of rental instead of doing everything by phone. The storage unit was fine, and the process in general was smooth, but I like to have the face-to-face personally.

The facility was the nicest storage unit I have ever seen. Clean and well laid out. Ashley is the consummate customer service professional. She and Christian arranged everything for a non-contact arrival, since we planned to travel on a Sunday. Ashley greeted us with a wide smile and even had cold water for our loadout crew.
